Message from Kingswood Thursday am
Hello everyone, Well we had a good night again. All asleep by 10pm! Yes really. We were very tired after the camp fire. We sang lots of funny songs and roasted Marsh Mellows. Then the Leaders brought our Coco and biscuits to us while we sang. Well this morning was busy. We had to strip our beds and pack our clothes. We have found so many clothes that we didn’t know we had. Why did you pack me three socks and shampoo? We are off to our last activity, then lunch and then home. It will sad to leave, it feels like we have been here for ages. But I cannot wait to see you all and tell you all about our adventures. I nearly missed you yesterday but then I remembered I needed to play with my friends. See you later The Kids from Kingswood
Message from Kingswood Wednesday PM
We have had a non-stop day! Oh the Zip wire is so fantastic, scary, belly churning funny, wonderful and weird all at the same time. Mrs Dawson said she was so tired of getting the children to go on it she didn’t have time to go on it herself! Mr Wallace went on it, but I’m just waiting to see if Mrs Johnson, Mrs Smith and Mrs Lloyd go on it - I bet they don’t. Mr Wallace tried to trick us by telling us that we were going Fencing – He said we had to get a hammer, nails and some wood. Then the first person to put it together was the winner. It wasn’t, it was like sword fighting but with a sword called a foil and some very strange clothes. I looked like a fly with the a silly hat on. But it was so much fun. Mrs Smith said the Gocarts were like watching the Teachers car park at 8 O’clock in the morning, there were so many near misses and crashes! It was really funny crashing into the tyres it was lucky I had so much protection on, the helmet made me look so funny – Dad will you let me drive your car now? The Leader said I was very good. Mr Wallace and Mrs Lloyds group went on the night line. We had to wear blindfolds and walk around holding a rope. The Teachers told us where to go. They tried tricking us, by saying we going through mud and water. But there wasn’t any, as the sun has shone most of the day and we didn’t even have to wear our jumpers (Mrs Johnson’s nose looks sunburnt or is it just dirt!). So your lucky Mum we are not THAT dirty – just a little, can I use some of your best bubble bath tomorrow please? As I do need a bath! The Team Challenge was like a big playground with loads of climbing things and rope swings. We had to help each other climb up walls, swing over bridges and go through tyres it was awesome (That a new word I have picked up from one of the Leaders.) I have a new song about an ape picking his nose – I don’t think Dr Marshall will let me sing it in assembly. But I do want to teach it to the year at playtime! We are just going to the camp fire to play games and sing silly songs. So I will tell you about that tomorrow. I’m so tired but I don’t want to miss anything. Speak to you soon, can I stay a little longer? – PLEASE! The Kids from Kingswood

Message from Kingswood, recieved Wednesday pm
Hello from Kingswood, What an eventful morning, already some of us thought we were Jenson Button zooming on the Go-carts. They are the best but we looked so funny in helmets. Also we went down a man made cave that used to be used in the war. It was so dark, the Leader told us about another Leader called Dave who lives down there and we had to swear that we would not tell anyone about it by rubbing our fingers in the mud and making stripes with it on our faces. We all looked like red Indians – But I won’t tell, - just you! Mrs Bridge came to visit it was lovely to see her. She said everybody is asking about us. How is your wedding week going? Has anyone got married yet? We had a lovely dinner; we had Bolognaise Pasta, Quiche, vegetables and Salad then fresh fruit after. I was so full. Then it was the Birthday boys’ cake. We sat in a circle and sang Happy Birthday again. Then had some of the cake – There is non left now! Apart from the chocolate smears across our mouths! Well off to the next adventure speak to you later The Kids from Kingswood.

Hello from Kingswood, Well we had a good nights sleep, all of the boys were asleep by 10.30pm, however some of the girls were talking till late! The boys went to play football at 7.30am the Poodles beat the kangaroos 5 goals to 4! They said they will beat them tomorrow! We had a continental breakfast, French pastries, toast cheese ham and cereals and yogurt- that’s posh! It is a special boys Birthday today, we all sang Happy Birthday to him. He thought he was the king and he was so happy that he could not stop smiling. I think there is some special cake later for us to eat – YUM, YUM. So off to our meeting, then to the first events of the day! I wonder what they will be. Speak to you later The Kids from Kingswood.

Message to parents, relatives and friends from the children at Kingswood
Hello everybody, we have finally got here. What a lovely time we have been having. The Aeroplane Museum was great. I could have spent all my money in the shop – I did try! We saw lots of huge planes and some tiny ones. There was a great kid’s area where you could make air go up or down. You could make light reflect different ways as well. We tried to make the circuit work, but most of us found it difficult. There was so much to see – Will you take me again PLEASE when I get back. It was so funny making our beds; it took us ages and ages! Nearly 10 minutes to get the pillow case on. But it helped us understand how to get the cover on the quilt. I’ll have to show you when I get back, I will make my own bed from now on!!!!!!!!! Well our dinner was lovely. We had either Chilli and Rice or Veg or Chicken burgers and potatoes that were sliced. Some of us didn’t like this so they made us other things. Then for pudding we had sponge and custard or fresh fruit. We have had our first activities Mr Wallace said his group were like monkeys. We all got to at least half way up the Climbing wall and some even got to the top. – Scary but fun. I can’t wait to see Mrs Dawson have a go at climbing the wall. Well we are off to the disco Mrs Smith has got her sparkly top on and Mrs Lloyd says she wants to sing and dance like Lady Gaga. I think Mrs Johnson is an Abba fan they way she swings her pants! After the disco we are going to have our Coco, then after that a story and off to sleep (That’s what they think!) Night Night Speak to you tomorrow Kids from Kingswood X
